Metheny Motorsports, Inc. is located at 5355 McIntosh Road in beautiful Sarasota, Florida.
Metheny Motorsports was started in 2001 when I, Frank Metheny, moved from Springfield, Missouri.
I have been in the car business for over thirty years. Following is a bit of my background:
• 1978 I started my first dealership in Russell, Kansas
• 1985 I moved to Springfield, Missouri and worked for a dealership selling exotic automobiles
• 1990 two of my co-workers and I started Team Motorsports, dealing in highline and exotic autos
Although I still enjoy working with the highline/exotic cars, I found there is a greater need for all types of cars, trucks and motorcycles. With years of experience and hundreds of contacts, I am able to find just about any type of vehicle for my customer. I take pride in finding the best auto for the best price.I spend time examining each vehicle, running each one through a battery of tests and inspections which enables me to tell if a car has ever had any cosmetic issues, ie: accident or repainting. I only look to buy quality vehicles! With that being said, finding the desired vehicle for my customer is the most enjoyable part of my job. I have many long standing customers who have returned to me over the years as they know they can trust that I will do the best job for them. Unlike most automobile dealerships I have low overhead costs which in turn saves my clients money, oftentimes a great deal of money.
